How great it is to see the Arse....nal get their come uppence at last. I love to see Arse...n Whinger ranting on the sidelines, makes my day. As for their 'saviour' old boy Terry Henry... he actually made the 'pass' that gave Swansea their winning goal. Priceless!!!! Europa League for the Goners next season.

Who has finished above Arsenal in the past 5 or 6 seasons? Only those teams backed by billionaires spending money like confetti or those running up hundreds of millions of pounds of debt.

Wenger has kept his side in the top 4 or 5 whilst building a new stadium and free of debt.

I think the funding rules are changing next season and you may see a shift in the balance of power.

I totally agree with Msg.2. The Club is not in debt, not owned by a load of Billionaires and if and when the rules change then I think you'll find things will change for the better. Bring it on I say!!

I am most certainly a Spurs supporter, and we have taken plenty of stick over the years... time for a little healthy payback methinks!! I would agree that he has done a decent job, but he is such a whinging bugger that I just love it when he gets all angry; and he had plenty to be angry about yesterday.

C'mon you Spurs!!

It's so lovely to be an Evertonian !!!!Happy to be mid-table.And enjoying good football.

It is inevitable our chairman,Bill Kenwright will sell out when an offer comes in from foreign billionaires.

And then ugh !!

I watch videos of Everton's great years in the 60's/70's....most of the games I was there.

You could not buy players now, like the midfield of Harvey,Kendall,Ball. All British !!!

Arsenal have never recovered from the humiliation of losing to BIrmingham City in the Carling Cup Final?

Keep right on to the end of the road.

Still a happy Bluenose.

Laptageezer I think you might have forgotten something, Arsenal have been eating humble pie now for seven years. No trophies nothing zilch. I couldnt have been happier when Biirmingham done them I was worried that they might have won it but alas it wasnt to be.

Harvey, Kendall, Ball, all British?

Surely you mean English?

Cahill hasn't netted for thirteen months.

Arsenal may have lost to Brum in the Carling Cup.

At least they did not get relegated from the Premiership. AP

Signing Henry is just a confirmation of how desparate Whinger is at the moment... Spurs did the same thing years ago with Klinsmann and it worked for us, but it showed how bad things were at the time. The Arse...nal are hanging on by a thread, trying to get back to being the No 1 team in London... which just so happens to be the mighty Spurs at the moment )

If Thierry Henry makes no more contributions it has been worth signing him just for the goal he scored against Leeds last week.

A fond memory I am sure Yorgozlu.... and yes a great achievement but those days are gone for now. I think you need a new manager really. I know 'In Arsen you trust' but that must run out sometime. How long can you go on without a trophy? They made a mistake putting all the dates up at the new stadium didn't they... it has just highlighted the lack of a win now.

Arsenal is the longest-serving member of the English top division. While every other top-flight club has suffered relegation at some point, Arsenal has been ever-present since 1919.It is the only Premier League club to complete an unbeaten League season - in 2003/04 - and holds the record for the longest unbeaten League record of 49. Arsenal scored in 55 consecutive League matches from May 2001 - another English record.

But are crap this year.

Still competing in the Champions league (No Manchester clubs!)

Still in the FA Cup

Still competing for a Champions League spot for next season.

I'll bet that the majority of the Premier League owners & fans would want some of that.

Long way to the end of the season..............

Nice to see Spurs near the top at this stage of the season but will they last the distance? Recent history suggests not.

"Arsend Bender" is a whinger but it seems to me that he is often right when he complains of the treatment his team gets from some officials. Nobody can deny that Arsenal when at their best are a joy to watch. Whatever team is supported it should be acknowledged that most teams in the leagues now try and imitate the Arsenal style of keeping possession and using a short, crisp, passing style much like Barcelona. Unfortunately for Arsenal other teams compliment this style with a bit of raw grit whilst Arsenal always seem to use players of great flair and no substance at the moment. These trends appear in football over generations and are not new. I recall that Spurs had a very successful team many years ago which played this way but it was called "push and run" in a W formation. Tiny ball players such as Tommy Harmer could flourish but it still needed a lump up front like Bobby Smith to put the ball in the net. Will we soon see again "a deep lying centre forward" or other old fad ?

Deputydawg, 'the Arsenal style of keeping possession' It was the late, great Brian Clough, who i seem to remember said 'football is a simple game, if we have got the ball, they can't score'

Ed1957. And he also "dropped", fined, or clipped in the ear, any of his players who put the ball in the air when the ground was better, and those who committed fouls. This uncompromising discipline also applied to accepting without complaint every decison of referees and no verbal abuse of officials or apposing players nor cheating. Referees at the time said "it is a joy to be part of Nottingham Forest games" This form of management was part of the reasons why during his appointment the League, 4 League Cups, and 2 European cups went to Nottingham Forest. This is one fad which I would like to see again but I doubt it will ever return to professional football.

Just watched Man U beat Arsenal, and it must be the poorest Arsenal team for many a year. They were lacking in most of their positions and Wenger actually made himself very unpopular by taking off their best player. Another United centre back injured with Jones going off after 17 mins.
