Can anyone tell me if the festival will take place this year? If so are there any dates yet? Who's performing?

I know its well early but we have to book holidays at work (some of us still do)

We attended last year and had a great time and would like to include it this year

Any info welcome

And thanks to everyone who takes part in this Forum, it is of great value to those of us who cant spend as much time as we would like in North Cyprus

The music festival is planned to take place at Bellapais. However the organisation behind it is small and has limited funds, so they rely very much on sponsorship. It's much too early to have the details, with mid September being a likely date for official announcements. When there is information I'll have it on my web site and various bulletin boards.

If you're in Cyprus earlier, don't forget the festivals in April/May and May/June

Ah, are you talking about a repeat of Festival 11 with The Bohemians etc? The other music festivals are classical music at Bellapais. What is it you are looking for, so we can try to give you the information you seem, but ianwfs is correct, you won't get details yet.

theFestival in June is always the same dates, but it is classical music, but bands.

Isn't the blues festival in September at some point? I can't remember dates to save my life but thought for sure this one was earlier. Regardless that is definitely THE concert event in NC. Always a great variety of performers and different styles of blues and not-quite-but-almost-blues like last year's Boogie Woogie guy (who I quite liked). Plus its out in the open with the beer flowing (and one free!) and the grill burning and the sea behind you. Absolutely unmissable.

1 September: Cheshire Home "Riverdance" concert at the Amphitheatre - timings etc to be confirmed.

21/22 September: As above but at Bellapais.

29 September: Cheshire Home Rock Concert at Amphitheatre - timings etc to be confirmed

Two Supper Club events with soul diva Diane Shaw on 18 September venue and timings to be confirmed but 19 September at The Colony Garden - timings to be confirmed.

Hope this helps

Sorryy message 9, but it would be nice to double check the info you are giving out. Cheshire Homes seem to be unware of these events. Who has booked them? The two Supper club events can most certainly be trusted as being Children in need events.

Sorry to be a bit of a lbad egg ov er this one, but asw I said, I believe things have changed.
