I think we need to stop making distinctions between different creeds and look instead at psychological, economic, cognitive and spiritual maturity, with the aim of developing all four. Ultimately at the level of ego transcendence, race will not matter and cause us no issues.

No1Doyen is asking which, of two groups of people are more racist - and then proceeds to define those two groups, on the basis of colour alone.

This implies that certain traits - like racism - can be defined by, or be the result of, being a particular colour.

I believe that you would have to be racist to have even formulated this question.

Keith. I can assure you I am not a racist. I do not see no harm in asking this question. First of all, not everyone is racist. Everyone may stereotype, but that does not make you racist. Racist is when you look at a group of people, determine a detrimental opinion, do not allow this opinion to change, and apply to every person of the selected race. Sometimes what people call "racist" has simply been what someone has been taught, they don't know any better, so it is actually ignorance.

Perhaps I could simplify the question by asking " Are whites Racist against any other colour?"

This does NOT stop them being racist.

I still believe that to imply that a group of people may have more, or less desireable atributes than another, purely on the basis of the colour of their skin - as you did - IS racist.

In NO1Doyens defence he has posted 2287 times and I can't recall a time when he has offended anyone, but more importantly make any comments whatsoever that might be construed as racist.

It is equally racist.

Why would you believe that a preponderance of people of ANY colour would be more or less racist (or ignorant) than people of another colour? And how could you tell?

One might perhaps accuse some Governments of 'institutionalised racism' on the basis of their public statements, actions, and policies towards foreigners, but to infer that that would give any indication of the views of the inhabitants of their countries would be unsound.
