Self explanatory;

My abode is in Lapta, Three hundred metres-ish away in Karsiyaka they had uninterrupted leccy.

How?

Are they on a different grid?

Do they pay their bills?

Genuinely interested.

Seemingly Karsiyaka gets its leccy from Guzelyurt direction so was not so badly affected. I am happy about that as I live in Karsiyaka!

good to hear that some folk had good fortune in all this. Shame it did noot spread from Karsiyaka, but mustn't be selfish, must one!

we did have minor cuts in Karsiyaka but only lasted in total a few hours. Jessics still did a roaring trade though!

I live in Karsiyaka but close to the Lapta border and we had the full on 22 hour cut. It was very annoying to say the least to look out and see Karsiyaka village lit up like a Christmas tree whilst we were in darkness but hey ho, that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I live in Karsiyaka, and i was one of he fortunate. To be honest i thought it was because perhaps most of the leccy workers lived here...

Oh well, my condolences to all of those that have suffered

Life without TV or internet, I think its quite romantic an open fire or gas fire. Reading and then going to bed by candlelight
