Everyone very ill with flu this year

Is it just me but everyone I speak to has been so ill with flu this past month. My 5 year old was so bad the doctor wanted her to go to hospital and out of 37 in her class only 9 were in. Friends seems to be dropping like flies. I have just made a big batch of Chicken soup and have taken it round to friends who are in bed, with surplus just in case its needed.



This seems to be the worst I have ever know.

Dose yourself up and try and keep warm, it really is debilitating.

Been bad in the UK too. My other half and I have had hacking coughs for 2 months we can't get rid of & GP can't give us anything for it. I had a very bad dose of flu end of last August which took over 3 weeks to get rid of.

Hope your daughter gets well soon Parkview, it is so worrying when they're little.

Thank you westender, She has had a cough for over 2 months too, the worrying thing is the high temperature but hopefully we are through the worst, still left with hacking cough though.
