Maybe it's not wise to reply in a language you don't understand as you may think you are saying something romantic and in fact is not....



I would suggest that you reply in simple English, not too flowery and let him get it translated, much as you have done... that way you are in your comfort zone knowing that you have not said what you don't mean...

As Rasime says 'seni seviyorum' means i love you... but 'seni sevmiyorum' means 'I don't love you', so you need to be careful... one wrong letter and you've said the opposite of what was intended...



I still advise using your native tongue unless you are convinced you know what you are saying in Turkish it could all go terribly wrong....



He ought to enjoy the challenge of working out the translation just as you do..

I know seni seviyorum and that's not what I want to say to him!!!
