We have someone coming to stay who has a wheat intolerance, can anyone point us in the right direction for supplies and restaurants that cater for this challenge ?

If they are gluten intolerant the corn bread is not suitable it must have some wheat in it my husband tried it. Some of the supermarkets still have schar products in stock ie pasta, cereal, some bread rolls and flour otherwise get them to bring some with them. In restaurants its difficult he stcks to plain steak or chicken avoid the rice as it often has pasta vermicilli in it a lot of places now just do frozen chips and they are coated. Sue at Club Ilgaz is excellent and understands about gluten free as does Vicki at Black Olive.He/She will just have to be very careful as there is a lot of hidden flour in food.
