Does anyone know the Hideaway?

Hi all



I was consdiering booking the Hideaway for a 10 night stay in September. However some of the reviews on Trip Advisor say the place is a bit shabby and the rooms are in need of some TLC. Does anyone know the Hideaway and what it is like or maybe someone could suggest an alternative. I did consider the Almond but thought the Hideaway would be better as that is a 4* and the Almond a 3*.



Any opinions appreciated!!!

Stayed there several years back and it was great. It has, I believe, been refurbished so check their website

I live in Girne and whenever my family come over they stay at the Hideaway and always love it.

Have stayed there many times before our place was built and always found that the staff are second to none.



And a little tip book room number 19 with sea view its the best in the house.

You can't fault the Hideaway, it's a lovely hotel run by a great family with fantastic staff!

Opening End of March, Non Residents are welcome to use the pool, restaurant etc, Keep your eye open in the newspapers for the offers and entertainment. I will be going back there again this year.

Don't know much about the Hideaway, but do the Almond and it should definitely be 5 star, it is a spotlessly clean resort, with very comfortable accommodation, a wonderful family who will take care of every need, well attended gardens in flower all year, food second to none, would recommend you visit there web site and take it from there, which ever you choose I wish you a wonderful holiday in the TRNC.

Message 10,they do charge £10 for the use of the pool and towels,although well worth it for the day!

£10.00? Good grief, I know I haven't been there for years, but that does seem a bit over the top. What exactly do you get for the £10.00, pray? Use of towels aside?

Firstly thanks to everyone for their lovely comments about The Hideaway.

Just to confirm there is 10TL charge for Non residents for use of the pool for a day (not £10 ).

Please do bear in mind that September is our always busiest month & I would advise you book early if you are thinking of joining us that time of year or have a request for a specific room number.

As I said, we haven't been up to The Hideaway for many years, but it was always lovely.

We stayed there in December, and couldn't recommend it enough. The hotel and the area were lovely, not to mention Chris (full of information) and Zia (Message 4) It was just what we needed peace and quiet after a busy busy year, we just wound down tremendously. Will definitely stay there again. A great place to stay and to explore TRNC. Very well situated and easy to get around by hire car or taxi.

Hideaway is great, has one of the most beautifull views in Cyprus and Guzin and the guys up there are doing a good job..
