Can anyone please tell me if the KIBTEC office in Girne is open to pay bills yet? I am attempting to pay a neighbour's bill, as he has been delayed in UK due to family issues and is concerned he will get cut off with all the subsequent costs when he returns late next month. Been there on 2 separate occasions, all locked up. If the office is still closed, can the bill be paid through a bank via cash?

Kibtek bills can be paid in cash at most banks.

Thanks all - will pay his bill via the bank tomorrow. My KIBTEK is paid via direct debit from HSBC, so i never have had this experience before.

Coming across next week. Would be grateful if someone could post the location of the Kibtec offices so we can also pay our bill.

We know Girne quiet well so if we had directions from Catalkoy we should be able to find.

Many thanks.

Can someone tell me, do you have to have a bill in order to make a payment on your electric or can you just give the bank your address and they can get the details online?

And the next question, if you do have to have a paper bill, is Kibtek open in order to get the bill (mine don't get left for me and I always end up going down town to have it printed).

Thanks everyone. I was only thinking to use the bank to save going in to town - just being lazy!

I paid a friend's bill in a bank yesterday. I had no idea you could do that... much easier than trogging to the Kibtek office and getting sour faces.
