Hi does anyone know of an agent for this model of generator elp5-50 (gas) or can recommend a main servicing agent who might be the one to ask about a new on/off switch ?

Elkiton, if you can take the switch off yourself you will probably be able to get one from Tektan in the centre of Girne. If you cant do this then there is a guy who services all generators just of the main road going towards the colony hotel , this would be very easy for him and he is very reasonable

Hi there, thank you. Tried Tectan, first time they have failed me, advised an autoshop, but it is a very specialised 6 contact / switch unique to generators not cars, with 3- turn to break pairs, also one turn to make pair. I would hot-wire it if I knew what the other 3 pairs were doing lol



I have taken it off, no problem there, can you clarify where your guy is located, are you coming up towards the Colony from the square, and which side is he on, or are you approaching from the Nicosia roundabout end ?

Hubby says try a Massey Ferguson tractor ignition switch,if it's wired correctly it should do the job.
