britvic - exactly the same here in East Anglia, in fact it doesn't seem to have got light all day and it's been pouring and blowing a gale too. Very miserable.

fire starter - we often go to Long Melford for lunch during the summer (ha ha)months - lovely place. Bury, this morning, is cold, dark and wet, just for a change!

we recently purchased a flat/holiday home in feltwell just north of you.

do you ever visit the antique warehouse in melford? as they are old friends of ours.

(no we are not swingers or gay)!!

i do miss our friends in that area, we used to laugh so much together.

the good old days! for us it was just time to move on.

Firestarter - think I know the place you're talking about in Melford - is it the huge place over several floors? To be honest, not really into antiques (unless I count myself). We moved up here nearly 9 years ago from south-east London and wouldn't go back down there now for all the money in the world, although, like you, we do still miss our old friends and the laughs we had. We have an apartment in Alsancak which we visit as often as possible, although at the moment work tends to get in the way. Nice to hear from you.

Best wishes

J
