Sadly there have been 2 poison incidents reported to KAR. Please take extra care and caution whilst out walking with your dogs.

Tuesday 24th January - Besparmak Mountain area - on a rough track through the pine trees just off the main loop road around Besparmak opposite the east end of the ridge on the South side - approx 50m from the walk tracks. Despite quick medical attention, sadly, the young dog died. The poison used was believed to be lanate on goat carcass - the dog never ate the meat. It was simply picked up and put down immediately once told.

Weds 25th January - Essenteppe village. No other details known.



Please take more care than usual when out and about.
