Thank you for all your kind words. It means so much. Thank you all, too, for everything you all did to try to find him. We are so touched that so many have given their support.



It seems he went for a walk, perhaps lost his torch and then his way in the dark, probably tripped, and fell down a ravine, hitting his head as he did so.



We are so grateful that some one found him as he could have remained missing for many more days.



I know that you will all continue to support Maureen in the coming months as she tries to cope with the huge hole he will leave in her life. But at least he is at peace.



He has probably opened his own pub in heaven and is handing out free drinks!



God rest Andrew. There is no doubt that you will be greatly missed.

Here in the Uk we all feel so sad that it ended this way. As Stella has said at least he has been found , it would have been so much worse for Mo as the days went by not knowing what had happened to Andy. He is at peace now and love the thought of him having his own bar serving drinks and Katie an old friend who sadly passed away 3 years ago who ironically would have celebrated her birthday today will be with him entertaining everyone.

So sorry Mo to hear this devastating news. Derek and I left for the UK today and just found out about Andy. Like everyone else, we were all hoping it would be a happy ending. So very sad. Our condolences to you and your respective families.

Just wanted to say that although I only met Andy the once at 5 fingers I was pleased to be able to be part of the search team and when I went round with the flyers the warm of feeling for Andy and the good wishes that people expressed was very strong and genuine.

Mo, just shocked and devestated at the tragic news, Rita phoned saturday to say he was missing and gave me the forum site to follow progress.
