| Hi I am moving to northern Cyprus on 2/3/12 and looking forward to making new friends. I am looking to start Tai Chi classes. Tai Chi is becoming more and more recognised for it's health benefits as it combines relaxation with mediation and is a slow way of exercising. If anyone knows how I should go about this please let me know. |

| Hello Mandy I attend classes at Club Med in Lefkosa on Monday evening and the instructor is Tarik Tankman. Tarik has taught at the Black Olive, Alsancak and St Andrews Hall, Girne in the past but low attendance forced our classes to close for the while. He also is an instructor in Qi Gong which classes are held on Wednesday evening. There is also an instructor called Dr Shahin Ahmedov who holds classes on Thursday and Sunday evenings at the Green Valley, Alsancak, I have only just seen notification of this and will make enquiries to see if they are still going!! I hope this may be of some help to you. Kind regards, Mrs Snakes. |
