Can anyone tell me if there are any buses that run from Paphos Airport to Niccossia? If there are, do you know where to find the timetable and fares?

If your catching a bus in the south get there very early.......

My son tried to get one from Nicosia to Paphos 2 weeks ago and as he got there the bus was leaving, 15 minutes early and he missed it, he had to go to limassol and got picked up there by friends from paphos.

BUS drivers across Cyprus yesterday announced indefinite strikes starting this morning because they have not been paid their January wages, caught in the middle of a dispute between the companies and the state.

Companies said the government has not paid them the agreed subsidies and in turn they have no cash to pay their employees.

The government said yesterday it had transferred enough cash for the companies to pay staff and accused them of using strike action as leverage to get more money.

Communications Minister Efthymios Flourentzos said €4.0 million was being transferred in the companies’ accounts yesterday, an amount that “is more than enough to pay any obligations to the bus drivers http://www.cyprus-mail.com/economy/bus-drivers-start-indefinite-strike-morning/20120201

There are no direct busues from Nicosia to Paphos Airport, Intercity has 2 services to Paphos but not reliable, You would need to get from the airport to Paphos city centre to catch the Intercity bus, Kapnos airports do not serve Paphos from Nicosia only to Larnaca.

If the timetable is not suitable from Paphos, you will need to get the bus to Limassol and change to the intercity buses from their. this is a better option as the limassol - Paphos Shuttle is more frequent.

Thanks all. I think it might be best to pay more and get a taxi!

HOUSANDS of people were inconvenienced yesterday by bus strike in all districts as the government and the transport companies continued to disagree over the interpretation of an agreement whose conditions have raised questions.

Bus drivers working for companies operating in the Republic’s five districts went on an indefinite strike because they had not been paid January wages.

Their bosses say the government has not paid them the agreed subsidies and they had no cash to pay employees.

The government said it had transferred enough cash for the companies to pay staff and accused them of using strike action as leverage to get more money.
