Just a bit more info ........ anyone wanting to buy tickets, which include the cost of transport and a packed lunch, can get them at Carpenters market on Friday morning. This is such a good cause, the money raised by this event in the past has helped with ground breaking research in treating cancer. I will be there walking in memory of Maureen Hutchinson, I hope that many of you will join me.

Marion,Sorry but I have no information of the walk.I believe you are going to be at Carpenters on Friday so could you please ask the lady who is selling the tickets. There is a telephone number of the lady who is organizing the walk in The Cyprus Star a few weeks ago I think if that's any help.

Message 8. 7th April from Lamboussa where the funds will be to Kuskor and SPOT. I can give you further details if you want, if the date is any good. There is to be a special Easter Fair at the Saturday market at Lamboussa, with fun stalls organised by TULIPS, proceeds to them, and the Fun Run will be part of that morning. Hope that helps.

tlo China Eyes - thanks, but I can't get to Carpenters on Friday, but will chase up later. Thanks very much.

So sorry you will miss it Chris. Of course you could always sponsor those taking part! I am sure while you are over if you go to Lambousa or Carpenters or .... well lots of places, there will be people happy to get you to sponsor them.

But you are right to say it is good to hear these are happening. Community spirit and caring is increasing. Great stuff.

Not sure I can get to Carpenters. Are tickets not on sale at Catalkoy Beledesyi offices?

Plus for those of you that have tickets or map details, as the start if from Arapkoy, is there any part of the route that is challenging for those of us that don`t do heights????

Would not be happy if I got the bus from the ship then find that it went up and up and up...............

So if anyone can help on that aspect .
