| I need some help, we have to replace our ceilings throughout the house, thinking of pine tongue and groove, but need some expert advice re this.
We currently have the old boarded ceiling used here a few years ago.
Any advice/recomendations will be gratefully accepted. or contact details of persons able to complete this type of work. |

| I would not recommend pine for a ceiling here as no matter how well seasoned the wood is... and usually it's not very well seasoned, the heat will often turn lengths of thin wood into something resembling a packet of crisps...
Why can't you have plasterboard ceiling and then have it skimmed... I know plasterboard is unusual here but it is done... |

| Hi the building is approximately 10yrs old, andf yes there is a void behind the ceiling. |

| give Stuart Hillard a call, he is a surveyor, I'm sure he ill be able to advise you as to whether it can be done. Also,
he may be able to suggest someone competant to do the job. I know that he has had a client who had some fantastic
ceilings put in, his number is 0533 861 2330.

| here they do a plastic board which looks like tongue and groove painted white.
which we were considering for bathrooms.
just wander around the yapi markets and ask what is available. |
