fine 5-1 demolition of the hammers last night which makes me wonder how can we beat the top teams and struggle against the lower teams doesnt make sense. still slight breather now 7 points away from the drop zone rob green was very poor perhap he remembers his days at portman road with the budgies as he was always picking the ball out of the net then lol!!

Been a funny old season, stuffed the spammers twice, let in last minute goals to turn numerous draws and wins into defeat. Still it`s still better supporting a proper Football Club. These new financial prudence rules are going to sort a few out and good job. No honour in bought success. Seems green was treated to a very special FPR welcome!

mikelapta think you would notice a big difference in the ground and pitch from the 60s itfc ground staff are always in demand for the quality of the pr pitch. rofl at message 3 still shows clubs like everton casn compete with the big spenders good result for the toffees

Is it still the same pitch though? And,of course we used to STAND behind the home goal.Yes,thank you,I remember Ray Crawford, too. Coincidentally, you mention Everton. After a few years in the RN,moved to Liverpool, first season I watched both teams. But I had to choose a team, and chose Everton.Good choice:Harvey,Kendall,Ball, and Labone centre half. No wonder they were called the "School of Science".Brilliant to watch !!! Later, after I started a company in N.Wales, one of my reps was a steward at Goodison.I would go,sign in,get my steward's jacket,in the stands, jacket under seat, watch the game, then go and hand my jacket in,and get £9 for watching my team !!!! Thanks for the memories Mike

lamberts done a good job with the trill eaters but they looked fragile against sunderland 2 or 3 defeats and they might be on the slide fingers crossed. think they need a goal keeper ruddy looks pants. always liked everton never had big money but work hard and are an honest team. re mike and ray crawford he was an outstanding forward of his time
