Shayne O'Dwyer played tonite at Efendis and was joined by Kelvin, Marcos, Justin, Andy, Jezz and Paul all playing adlib and what a great nite. This young guy is a massive talent and played guitar, piano and drums with such amazing talent, it was unbelievable.



He is playing at The Fez on friday nite, the Old Mill on saturady nite followed by a gig at The Rock Tunnel after midnite on saturady nite too, If you want to see this guy try and turn up at one of these gigs, he really is a stunningly talented young man, he really does rock it, playing a massively diverse selection of music, the guy is amazing,



He rocked it at Efendis tonite (thursday) and last nite (weds) at Shayna with Zelish and Ersin



Its all doom and gloom out there, if you want to be cheered up with some great music, turn up at the Fez, the Old Mill or the Rock Tunnel, trust me it will cheer you up no end, it did me XX

Brilliant night of quality entertainment............and Paul!



15tl for Bangers and Mash at Efendis was pretty good but then Shayne turned up.

The highlight for me was Still Got the Blues.

Quite how Shayne got from "not sure about the lyrics" to the brilliance that followed I will never know.

Suberb set.



Then we come to the second half,this was one of those surreal experiences when you "think only in Cyprus"



We had the gentleman who had the good fortune to sound a bit like Paul Rodgers,the Diva from behind the bar, both excellent and Paul.

Now this was interesting,his very own and unique take on some rock classics, I`m sure that was the Ace of Spades riff in there? And a bit of Hawkwind,very surprising and very enjoyable.



However then we had Angels.......God I hate that song,sorry I had to leave so quickly, I ran down the road to get away from it!



But seriously a better then super night and if you can get to see Shayne go - a real treat

David, he is off on sunday back to Kilkenny but we are expecting him back in the spring or summer and he will be looking for gigs, he may even be bringing some of his band members with him,

I would just like to sat a big thank you to everyone involved with Shane and the man himself, he played The Old Mill Ozankoy last night, a great set of over 3 hours and he brought a packed house to there knees! Brilliant singer and musician, he will returning to The Old Mill Ozankoy in the summer, can't wait

What happened re the Tunnel gig?

Turned up at 9pm and waited until 11.30 before the band started to play and no sign of Shane. After the first set I decided to go home. Just as well it was free entry otherwise I would have been well miffed.
