Hi all. Can you please suggest a nice restaurant to eat tomorrow night for me and my girlfriend. I am not familiar with decent places around that area. I dont really want to drive all the way in Girne. All cuisines acceptable

Thanks alot guys and gals

Unfortunately Silver Rocks is closed at the Mo. Try Hannimeler on the Lapta Strip or Veni Vici is nice.

Logged on just to reply to this thread, Silver Rocks hands down for walking distance but apparently its shut :(

Veni Vici food is spot on but the service is very very hit and miss, you would probably be ok in winter though.

JK's great pub grub, but really?!? Punjab lovely but if you like medium make sure you ask for spiiicy!

Is Cenap open? Ask for roast or stew rather than kebab, great restaurant!

I got to this thread late and I am surprised that nobody had mentioned Green Palace, a local Karsiyaka restaurant. Now I am worried because I have not been there for a few months and maybe it no longer deserves a recommendation; it would be a great pity if that is so.

I have also only just seen this thread but can assure you nothing has changed at Green Palace. Still a great restaurant in fact they are having a special for valentines day.

I agree, Veni Vici is good, but if you like a good curry Punjab is lovely too.

Thanks will do next time we are over. We're moving over permanently in October and I'm so happy that you can get a good curry in North Cyprus otherwise I would suffer from withdrawal symptoms.

Personally I prefer chapati to naan, but naan seems to be the most popular in Cyprus.
