may i take this opportunity to wish you and yours a very happy chistmas, turbo happy holidays and im listening to your advice i have signed up for yoga. A healthy wealthy and prospeous 2009 to all make no resolutions so then they cant be broken just resolve to enjoy what you have nurture it and love yourself because you are what matters to you. Love mankind treat them well but remember treat yourselve well too. Do what you can even if its in moderation but feel good about yourself and you will feel good about others happy christmas xxxxxxxxxlilli

why not try to enjoy it....... Well for 1 i do not believe some guy was born 2000+ years agao of a virgin then nailed to a tree 33 years later.



For 2 ib the event I am wrong I see nothing to celebrate in the fact that millions of people have been tortured , murdered and denied contriception in his name .



And for 3 " THE CHURCH " is one of if not the ricest oranisation on earth yet millions of people need food and medical aid yet bishops , priests and their cling ons sup wine in the lap of luxury,

hi nige happy days to you and the lovely pat i understand why you quesion religion as we all do but this is the time for for$givness, the church and i presume you refer to the catholi$c church being rich, they are but so are the greek, italian etc but please beleive me nige as you know I was brought up in ireland when it was poor and we had only the church to rely on they had a vincent de paul socity who dressed us they send missioneries around the world giving aid to what we know as under developed countries THEY GET MONEY IN BECAUSE PEOPLE BELEIVE sorry left the caps lock on but they have priests, nuns, doctors etc around the world and that comes from the funds. I Aam not a born again christian just a very bad lapsed catholic girl. I do respect your opinion on Christmas, if that is how you feel that's fine but there are many people who do believe in the spiritual side of it and perhaps you could show a little respect for their feelings.

If you feel so anti Christmas maybe you would have been better just ignoring the thread rather than risk offending people who may have strong Christian beliefs.
