The market is back again tomorrow (Thursday). Please come and join us tomorrow, from 11.00am. Tables are free if you would like to hold your own stall. Indoors or outdoors, there's plenty of room.

As usual we have Vicki's homemade cakes and quiches, homemade cards, Pandora jewellery, scarves & pashminas, books, bric a brac, clothes, garden ornaments, handmade jewellery, household electrical appliances, perfumes and aftershaves, and gold jewellery. And we have some newcomers expected to join us as well this week.

There's special Meal Deals if you fancy lunch.

And, you can also come along to earn some cash money yourself by trading in any old gold jewellery or trinkets you have.

And tomorrow we have another special market with some entertainment to keep you amused all afternoon. Can't give any more details I'm afraid, you'll just have to come along to see what it is!

The market was a bit dissappointing this week which was a shame. Nicky has asked me to try to let people know (the usual regular stall holders that didn't make it this week) that before the market even got started today we had 7 customers sitting inside and waiting for the stalls to arrive! And they were new faces we haven't seen before!

In the first hour there were more customers than stallholders present! Please, please don't let this market die a death like so many others have done. We need you to stay committed so that we can encourage the customers to keep coming.

Unfortunately it's a 'chicken and egg' situation - few/no customers so the stallholders get fed up, then no stallholders and the customers that turn up think to themselves there's no point in coming back again!

Acmenya restaurant is a great venue. Even when the weather is wet or too cold or too windy, it doesn't stop us, we can continue indoors. And, it's still free for you to have a stall of your own.

A MESSAGE TO THE PEOPLE WHO ORGANISE THE CROWN BOWLING:

A couple who came earlier today to try their hand at the bowling returned just after you left. They were hoping to sign up. They'll be back again next week they said to sign up with you.

Please if this market gets the support it will be a very nice day out, we went today and had lunch two for 18tl and very nice fish and chips they were too.

Everyone we met there today were very friendly and rarely made us feel welcome.
