Thank you Marion for bringing this back to the top, I think the idea of expensive is down to the individual. I have no further details on this as this has been organised by the Association and they have asked me to post this on their behalf, but if you call 0392 227 0585 they would be happy to oblige.

I agree with Marion, it is expensive, especially when you can see traditional dancing at any of the village festivals throughout the spring/summer. I appreciate it is for a very worthwhile cause but I suspect not too many will go, just for dancing, at that price. I hope you prove me wrong.

This seems to be a continuing problem over here. Lots of good organisations organising very worthwhile (and sometimes exciting) events both for charity and their own funds, but at too high a price for the majority of expats who wold like to attend, but are on limited budgets. Marion's reply is right! Halve the price and double the numbers. As a previous organiser of many events in the UK I know hotels, food, entertainers etc can be expensive and one has to set a ticket price to cover all expenses and hopefully make a profit for whatever cause. But I proved that it was easier to get 300 people at £30 than to get 100 @ £50. And you make more money!
