I think Capello resigbed on a point of principle. The rush to judgement ( by their actions ) of the F.A. in the John Terry case. Like him or loath him , I admire his stance. The F.A. are a bunch of incompetents.

He does not have the job yet! I doubt very much if he will even be considered for the position of England manager!

The media will put Redknap in the job and in 2 years will hound him out.

Its not the manager its the players, start sacking them.

Will Harry be able to do both jobs, at least until the end of the season - if asked?

as much as i wanted him out, its great timing leading up to a major tournament. Redknapp is surely a must have

although the english premiership is the best league in the world , it lacks world class english players , as turtle says old arry would be hounded out by the press , better for him to stay with spurs , he is loved they,re , why put his neck a noose that tightens the minute a result goes the wrong way .

Spot on Rowlo. Harry's already a legend at Spurs. We all know that he's a good man manager and he should stick to managing clubs rather than countries.

59 year old, ashen faced Ron Knee is apparently not happy at Oswaldthwistle Rovers after his latest signing, Baldy Pevsner, managed 3 own goals against arch rivals Bacup Academicals last night.

Ron (59) said that following the news about Fabio he would be willing to be considered to lead another load of useless overpaid poseurs for the right fee!

Mr knee is 59.

Again, apologies to PE!

Well done Fabio,

Being ignored in the decision to strip JT of the captaincy was disgusting and typical of the England set up. Run by people who have little soccer knowledge and appointing chums in to high places, Little like RBS.

The Courts could have sorted this little tiff out weeks ago, and all would have moved on.......but thats the way this country is run now!!!!!!

Looks as if the 2nd hand car dealer will be appointed as the new manager.........wonder if Spurs fans will be as loyal now.

All together now..........."It's coming home........it's coming home........"

You are right Tiggs................... we sack a manager thats managed to win most cups and trophies in Italy and Spain along with a European cup so we can appoint a manager who has won what ?

Oh sorry a lone FA Cup

seems a fair swap

Surely you need an English manager for an English Team-they had to get a translator to tell him he was sacked-good riddance to an overpaid w..

We were great qualifying, but then what

The top and bottom of it is this.We simply do not have enough class English players.Players that turn it on for their country like they do their club.Way too many foreign players ply their trade in the premiership. And unfortunateley, this will never change. The premier league takes precident over the national team.Thats business i am afraid,

Who really cares? England will never be a good side, their Egos keep getting in the way, that's why they stopped giving caps.

Big If, Rednapp took on the England manager's job, how ironic it will be. Here is a man that had a court case pending on him for 5 years but he kept his managerials posts all through that time, the FA never questioned that he should be allowed to carry on. But on the other hand they remove the England captaincy from JT, who also has a court case pending.

I wonder how Rednapp/FA would reconcile that one? One law for one.......etc.

'Alan Pardew rules himself out of the running for the England job.'

Good on ya Al. I'll rule myself out as well, especially as I've got no chance of being offered the job, just like you.

As said on another thread.....If Arry turns it down then there are only 2 other English Premiership managers about, and at 50\1 Pardew is good value for my tenner.
