After giving England their two most successful managers in Sir Alf and Sir Bob without ever considering asking for compo because it was an honour I think Ipswich Town we are safe this time around. For me if happy arry is the best we have God help us. Time to be radical, step up David Beckham and before anyone laughs check out German managers.

Fallen out of love with England Used to go and watch them a lot on in Nineties and early Noughties As a ST holder at my Club and a coach in Youth Football I can honestly say I am not in the least bit interested

Well if you like to back your judgement then Harry is a 1\3 shot with most bookies which would seem its a done deal, though it wont see any of my money. It is thought that the F.A will appoint an English born manager and though Stuart Pearce is generally 6\1, he is very poor value as his appointment would be seen as a bit uninspiring. Lets say that Arry turns the job down for some reason or other (health ?) then we are left with a very small field of English Premiership managers to consider. The stand out candidate on present form is Alan Pardew, and with current odds of 50\1 is worth a speculative tenner of my money.

Pardew has said he isn't interested, so he should be worth a flutter. Roy Hodgson will appear on the FA shortlist, but god knows why. Harry might do it part-time for the Euros, but suspect Daniel Levy will price him out of consideration.

An excellent football player does not necessarily mean an excellent manager, two different things altogether......

Why not Stuart Pearce for the permanent position? Most of the current players have been introduced to international football by him & they all know him, and you can't say that the under 21's have been unsuccesful.

Cant see it myself, as they went down that route when they promoted the Wally with the Brolly. But your guess is probably better than mine.

"Arry" admitted that his writing is like a two year old's, He doesn't know what an e mail is, He can't send a text message, he has NEVER written a letter and has never read a book ! A natural for the job seams to me! (A thick millionaire!) Oh and even though he admitted the money he received and spirited away in his dogs name, was a bonus, he was found " NOT GUILTY" by a JUDGE (!). (HE ADMITTED IT IN A TAPED PHONE CONVERSATION !) Absolutely perfect for the manager of the England Football Team. Gerry
