Hi All

I wish to purchase these. Somebody mentioned Electrakur are very good in Kyrenia. Does anybody know where they are situated-anywhere near Pia Bella Hotel

Regards

They just off the Girne - Lefkosa roundabout heading towards the Bellapais traffic lights..

We think they are very expensive for what can be bought elsewhere...

Thanks for the info. I heard they were good quality though compared to some people who had trouble with theirs. Do you know of anywhere else?

There is also an ' Electrakur' in Lefkosa, apparently cheaper than the one in Girne and they give discounts. Thats where I got mine from, good selection and very helpful staff.

If you have high ceilings then I would suggest you look at buying ones with remote controls because sometimes you will want the fan on and not light and vice versa.

Does anyone know if they come with a bracket that would compensate for an angled ceiling, or can you but something like that ?

drop rods can be fitted to some models. Just make sure you buy a model that can use these. They sometimes come supplied with the fan.

Just bought some ceiling fans in Nicosia. Slightly better price than Elektrokur with remote. Good choice with or without lights, remote and all reversible. Tel: 00357 22 762768/9 Komathea Trading (elegant fans). Drive down Makarios Avenue to the lights at the bottom that have Debenhams on left corner, go straight across to the start of Limassol Avenue follow road and shop on left side with pictures in the window approx 200 metres up from traffic lights

Don't "Makarios Avenue" give you a clue?

Linus & teatime; sorry for the delay in coming back to you. Yes the shop is in the south and no we didn't have a problem, just put them out of sight in the boot of the car. If you are worried keep under the euro limit for bringing goods over
