You can get a free one from "Turkcell" close to the Girne/lefkosia roundabout . (Head towards Karoglanoglu but is only 50 yards up the road on the left) You must take out a 12 month contract with them for 60tl a month for unlimited internet use. I have found it to be excellent value. "GEZZ"

Birdman are you sure that the deal is unlimited data ?

This is the current KKTCell gezz deal according to their website.

I'm not sure, but the one displayed is for a 10GB unit which is far too big for the average user I am told. The free package that I have with them is for a 4GB unit which i believe is still available, unlimited usage, for free. (With the 12 month deal at 60 TL per month.)

I have been informed by erol , who is far more knowledgeable than I, on this subject that my deal is not "unlimited" as I had believed. However as do not download films or music but only use my computer for e-mails/facebook/letter writing etc. then 4GB is ample for my needs and costs 60TL per month WITH a free dongle from TURKCELL/

if you are not using your internet for any downloading and only for your emails and basic internet use then you could probably get away with only having 1gb or maybe 2gb per month at a cheaper cost. but you are tied into a 12 month agreement. i know someone who got a gezz from an internet shop with 4gb for 50tl and no monthly contract.

re mesg 1 if someone is selling a dongle on here for 50tl or 100tl etc then to me it isn't worth buying as this comes with no internet usage. you can go to most computer shops and buy either new or 2nd hand dongles for around 50-60tl and get given 3 or 4gb included. as for turkcell or telsim it really depends on costs and what covers your area the best. ask neighbours and ask what they use and find the best coverage. good luck
