| Microwaves are as cheap as chips in the UK, just wondered what the prices are like in Cyprus as to whether it's worth the bother of bringing one over or buying there. I know on things like tv,s there is a big price difference but not sure about small appliances, if it's only a few quid I won,t bother. |

| Hi Rose Yes I can cook but my dearly beloved does enjoy his morning bowl of porridge done in the microwave, so if it keeps him happy I,m fine with that. I have tried to get him to try something else for his breakfast but no luck there, men eh ! Hattie |

| fire starter, You can cook most things in a microwave (apart from Roasts!) with a little research. Keith. |
