So sad to see the Arse....nal thrashed tonight in the CL!! Not!!!!

They were terrible tonight, only one or two of the team actually played well and they were deservedly beaten 4-0. I think on that showing that they could get beaten by Sunderland this coming weekend and they they will be out of all competitions except the fight for 4th place. What a shambles!!

Hmm not sure Stan, 8-2 was rather painful as well. We will win at Suderland though and gain 4th place by default I believe.

When asked by journalists what they would be doing this summer Arsene Wenger said "I will plan tactics so that Arsenal will win a trophy next season."

Harry Rednap said " I will spend the summer shagging Kylie Minogue, Pamela Anderson and Angelina Jolie at the same time."

When the journalist told Harry to be serious he pointed to Arsene Wenger and said... "Well he f***ing started it!"

cyprusairsoft. You no doubt will recall that the groundsman Stan Prendergast won awards for producing for years on end the finest playing surface in football at Portman Road. It was a joy to watch the games played on it though sometimes the opposition enjoyed it so much that they played above their normal abilities ! Yes, a playing surface can often affect the outcome of matches, but not as often as Howard Webb !

I think the pitch is still under repair from the scorching it got by Bale last season !

As to the Arse, they are in decline, need to replace at least five of the current underperforming squad and prepare for life without Van Persie next season. With Billionaire owners, one of the highest ticket prices and no real investment in world class players - they could have bought Mata before Chelsea as an example - they will never return to the high levels of yesteryear.

Sunderland, on this showing, should beat them 2-1 at the weekend
