Helloo,

Im moving to N.Cyprus (Kyrenia) in August.

Would there be any fellow ladies (or men!) that would be interested in a crochet club? (dont laugh!)

I run one here in England and will miss it loads when we go.

I havnt looked into where to hold it yet as I wasnt sure if anyone at that end would be interested ;)

I teach from beginners right through to advanced and Im just putting out feelers really.

Im also involved in hand sewn quilting and patchwork and would happily teach that too...

What do you think?

Count me in to join no experience in crochet but I do hand quilting and patchwork ( beginner). I miss my little craft club in the UK , so would welcome a club. Good luck and lets know when you start.

Well thats a good start. Even if it was just us 3

Crocheting is a bit of a dying art in England. Such a shame as its so diverse. Hand quilting too. Ill keep you informed

Count me in. I have a crochet book, wool and hooks I just need some teaching. I can knit and do Durham Quilting. Always wanted to crochet - Mam did teach me once and I practiced for a while but then, didn't practice and lost it.

Hi, I have just asked on C44 about something similar - I used to crochet (v basic) as a child. But I would be a total beginner really. Please let me know if you do start one. Email is ...... windymilly@live.com

Hi I'd love to join in as well. I crochet quite a bit but can't knit and would also love to learn quilting so perhaps we could have a craft group.

Lots of local woman produce amazing crochet work, not just scarf edges, but fantastic shawls, shrugs, cardis, etc. Might be worth finding an English speaking one. They love to know what other people do
