Your electricity needs final approval i think that is what it is called, or checking to see that all is ok,but if the house does not have planning permission im sure you can whistle Dixie for normal electricity, some here have been on builders electric for 6 and 7 years !

Good luck and if not hope you got plenty to spend each month and more so if you got a pool!

Is it a rented property you are staying in for the three months you say you are staying if so the owner should sort it for you.

If it is rented property should the owner not have had it sorted before renting out or at least informed the renter as Billywiz is only assuming it is builders electric.

I stupidly asked a customer why she was on builder’s electric, at least 18 months later final cost about 10k quoted 5k we got there. After this experience I would just ring Ertan the electrician to pave the way first and find out facts and not what should and should not happen. If it’s a new house at least the plans (electric and site) should be readily available. Power of attorney will be required.

I had to have site and electric plans drawn up, submitted to the land registry agreed by the municipality, then submitted to kibtek and signed off.
