@ msg 1, Pipie: Things to consider.

1: Do you happen to have an iPhone also? If so, you don't need an extra sim card in your iPad - just a 3G subscription on your iPhone. You can use your iPhone as a hub (Hotspot in the settings) and connect your iPad wiFi and 3G to the Internet.



2: If you want a sim card in your iPad 2 you have to subscribe to Turkcell and than take a 3G subscription. Your choice will be 250MB, 1-2-3 or 4Gig per month. Start low and download the app "Data Usage" to check exactly your daily/monthly cellular usage. You can always upgrade your 3G package.



3: Prices: depends on your choice. Check with any Turkcell Office (there's a very good one near the main roundabout in Girne and one opposite the Girne Belediye). Maybe you can find more info about the costs on their website also.

Cheers Dutch, yes I have both I pad and I phone, just looking for a few weeks use as I am not based in TRNC

I have looked at Turkcell website but could not find details on a local sim card ??

P.S. Remember: to check how many MB you have left on your 3G subscription: text DURUM to 1111 and Turkcell will reply with the required information.
