| Hi I have to do my residency renewal this coming week and also need to have a blood test. Can you just clarify a couple of things for me as you have recently done yours. 1 You go to the police station and they give you the slip to take to the hospital. Do they check all your paper work etc (husband with me but over 60) and keep it or do they give you it back to do later? 2. When you have been to the hospital and had the blood test etc and go back to the police station do you have to go through the whole go early to the station sign and get a ticket again or can you go straight in? 3. Do you not have to go to the hospital the same day as you go to the police station? Thanks in anticipation for the answers Regards Sue |

| Hi, 1. They will look at your paper work and check all is present and correct and give it back to you with the slip to go to Girne State Hospital. They will take you Husbands paper work as 60 plus, check it and send that off to Lefkosa 2. It depends on what time you go to the Police station with your receipt from the hospital, and how busy they are. If you decide to go the following day at opening time, then you put your name down, get a ticket etc. On both trips to the PS we went late morning between 10.30 and 11pm. For us, it was more convenient than getting out of bed early!! and both mornings there was only a 10 minute wait. 3. No, you can go the next day if you want, but get to the hospital very early and get your ticket to be called to pay early and then have tests done. Kind regards, Mrs Snakes |
