The Welsh couldnt care less what other people think of them , they not only think and believe the Welsh represents the highest form of human achievement they know It . some say we have a love /hate relationship with the english but they are 100% wrong. For a start there is very little love ,yet hate is also conspicuous by its absence,which is a little surprising given that england,s treachery and the killing of its last native born ruler in a particularly nasty way and the comprehensive looting over several 100 years of its natural resources , its more accerately summed up by 10% resentment and 90 %pity ,

Rugby gives our poor impoverished nation the opportunity to beat another that has ten or more times its populalation decisively and regularly.Rugby gives the Welsh the opportunity to humiliate the english in a game they invented,gives our pride and our revenge,its the closest in the modern world to Wales traditonal national sport WAR. Convincing wins for Welsh longbowmen in ireland ,Agincourt Crecy etc and in scotland as the Welsh archers being the only one who didnt break at Bannockburn, Wins in battles that seem not to feature in english history for some reason . but lets put all that behind us looking forwards the game yes just a game ,did i say that, Cymru Am Byth

Being different to the english frowned on, the english landowners mine owners banned welsh speaking in pits etc so if you wanted a job to feed your family you had to learn english, slowly they took over still about 600,000 welsh speakers we dont do so bad for a small in size place , but then the anglo saxons (the english )dont speak german anymore

There is no equivalent word in the English language,for the Welsh word "Hiraeth"...with roughly means a longing,nostalgia,returning to the Wales of the past.



Just read again all the antics of the English Rugby team at the World Cup,who were representing their country.They were a disgrace

Why this hatred of the English after all these years? What ever happened to forgive and forget and let bygones be bygones? This in built hatred goes a lot further than just verbal jousting over a game of Rugby.

Why not nail your true colours to the mast and declare UDI. Show what you are really made of.

However, you would then have to be independant of the English, who you totally rely on, That would never do now lovely, would it??
