msg 6&7 thats the price cheaper than normal. normally it can charge you 60 pounds to larnaca each way. the company which charges 40 i wonder if their cars run by water. the petrol price is not getting cheaper in this country each years

Unfortunately some of us want to get to Larnaca the cheapest possible way. Even motorised roller skates would be good, but no room for the luggage. As to the company which obviously two of us are looking for that charges £40, it is nothing to do with petrol price on thepump, but to do with helping people to get to Larnaca without spending a week;s pension money. I am sure that your luxury car is wonderful, but many of us don't want to pamper ourselves, we just want to get there.

The company advertising £40 each way was Taxi Express, but that was only up to 15th March. I e-mailed to ask if they'd consider extending at all but they said no.

Someone also mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Pacific Rentacar was charging £45.



Also A1 Rentacar offer £25 if you book your car hire with them at the same time.



Sorry, Ladyoscar, I arranged pickups for people recently £50 each way and they were collected in Mercedes, E-class and on another occasion Merc Vito. Both very nice vehicles, passengers very comfortable!

well marion you can find a friend who are going at the same time with you so you can share the fare. it will be beneficial for most people i know. the price is standard here since this is touristic place we cant drop it more because it will break the regulations among the legal taxi companies. you can check with kombos, jasmine, dome taxi or others with names. those which charges down than our prices probably dont even have a permission in doing taxi business. we just offer the best service to those who want to enjoy a little luxury in their holidays or to just make a difference among your routine life. so if you want to here we are call us at 0533 8881 131. you deserve the best. especially you who come here to spend your leisure time on a vacation. we'll give you an unforgettable experience of cyprus.

Thanks Lady Oscar, but I, like many other people in North Cyprus, are not tourists but live here full time on shrinking incomes and to get a flight from Larnaca to U.K costing peanuts and then have to pay as much to get to larnaca seems incongruous. also I agree that with others it is O.K, but when you are single or travelling alone, then it is a heck of a lot of money, and there does not seem to any kind of sharing via the car taxi service itself. I had a heck of a job getting to the airport and now it looks as if I have a heck of a job getting back. and yes, I deserve the best - everyone does, but they can't always afford it. If i had the money for the best, I would not still be living in northern cyprus but back in a country I love which is unaffordable.

I appreciate you are doing business, but please don't advertise something as a bargain when it is on a par with others. Just offer a luxury service at a certain price, but don't make it appear that you are offering a bargain.
