Hi Everyone

I would appreciate information on how to replace faulty pool lights.Does the pool

have to be drained.I seem to remember someone saying that you can lift the unit

out of the pool as there is excess cable fitted to the unit this does not appear to

have been done.

Cheers

Hello - yes you need to get into the water and pull the entire unit out the long cable will be in the hole behind it. Lift the whole thing onto the side, you will then need to undo the back to replace the entire glass unit if it has gone. Make sure you reseal the back tightly before putting it back into the water. You may want to wait a few weeks until it is warmer though - as I said you probably need to get in the water to pull the unit out straight. Hope that helps.

They don't all just pull out - mine require a quarter turn to release them. But once released there is sufficient spare cable to enable them to be removed from the pool and serviced.
