I have to say a big "Thank you" to the Almond sports lounge for their last two nights entertainment. Thursday night they hosted the great Barry Snakes. Hugely talented as both a guitarist and vocalist, he had the place rocking .



Last night, however, Pearl, a first class live band played, and were they good?........No, they were fantastic. The incredibly talented group were further enhanced by a first class saxophonist, who turned up and "Jammed" with the band. Wow! they were amazing entertainment, Dan and his sheer mastery of the guitar, who's solo's underlined his immense talent and roused massive applause from the audience made this a performance to remember.



Great job Almond sports lounge. More please,and to all entertainers involved, please keep this up.... Brilliant!

Agree, absolutely great night Friday, especially when tables were moved from the dance floor!! Music made such a change from the usual 60s/70s cheesy pop

Absolutely great night of entertainment, Pearl were brilliant first time we have seen them, but certainly not the last. Hope lots of money was raised for a truely good cause.

Tulips (Helping others with Cancer) should be letting us know tomorrow how much was raised at the 'Pearl' gig. The guys are discussing their next date and will announce it as soon as they know. Tony, that was a good picture of you dancing on the dance floor. Glad you had a good time. And yes it was a good night.
