| I wouldn't be surprised if he is looking also for somewhere to evacuate the women and children too.
I wonder if the RoC has figured out this will put their own people in the firing line if Iran decides to take out the base. |

| The ROC is a member of the EU. Would the EU sit back and let a non member country set up a base inside a EU state??????

| The EU is not a military alliance.....The US (Non EU) has many bases in EU states. |

| Ok fair point. I just thought it was strange that Isreal, were even thinking about a base here (or should i say there?) one other point is the flying time in a military jet from Isreal to Cyprus would be a matter of minutes. I think this is all hype. |

in plot 12 gas/oil
maybe it is a way for protecting the american interests that israel will be allowed to use a base in cyprus |
