'Two versions are known regarding the naming of the village:

The first version links the naming of the village to the name of the first resident. In particular, the first resident of the village was called Arminos and therefore the village was named Arminou. The second version claims that Arminou owes its naming to the settling of Armenians during the Byzantine years.'

How far back in time do you want to go to prove land ownership Phil?

Phil

I can show evidence that a lot of my neighbors that were displaced from Pafos circa 1974 have had their title deeds (originaly issued by the Land Registry in Pafos) subsequently falsified to show GC ownership. And if you want to discuss your perception about my situation then feel free to do it now.

I can not find specific information about Arminou but both the closest village to the west of it (Aigos Ioannis) and east (Aigos Nikolaos) were both predomiantly TC villages pre 74 according to this resource.
