Hi, go to the Holiday Extras website to get a quote. The earlier you book, the better deal you will get.

There are a number of places around the airport - they will store your car and take you/pick you up from Stansted. This may work out cheaper - we have done it before. Google "Stansted Airport Parking".

Hope this helps.

Quite often you can get hotel and parking packages which work out just as cheap, if not cheaper, than parking alone. Holiday Extras are one of the companies that do this.

Pegasus may be cheap but when you add on the cost of fuel for the journey from the North of England and parking is it not as cheap to pay the bit extra and fly from Manchester?

Arry "Just like that mate"

andy as i said before on the other thread it's always best to book as early as poss because they sell cheaply then so they can cover their cost's then put up prices for their profit. Glad your sorted.

Booked ours three weeks ago for June and now they have gone up £50 each.

Bushel and Sack closed down about 8 weeks ago, along with Sams Motel, Angel & Harp, Dunmow Inn and many more.

If u want B & B - Mike (our local publican) runs the White house - nice although quite costly - or cheap and cheerful in Crossroads in Takeley

Windmill

I know Paul and Tina well who owned the Sack.......the overheads were far too high too keep a reasonable costing. They also had a B&B Farmhouse, but thats now a kidz nursery. Think the Sack is being refurbsihed as a more expensive joint - but yet to open - think the current climate has put a kaybosh on it for the moment

Hi Andysue

We use stansted all the while, and use a fab company to do a park and ride. Basically they meet us at the airport door, and take our car, and then meet us at the airport door with our car on arrival in. We have used them for 5 years and they are brilliant. Cost £45 for a week or £69 for 2 weeks. Tel: 01376326139. The other one that has been recommended sounds good as well. Jayne
