Anybody with Multimax and who watches iPlayer and doesn't get any buffering, can you tell me what subscription you are on. I have 2mb but am finding that it freezes too much now that I can only watch BBC this way so will probably need to upgrade. Thank you.

we are with multimax and have the 4mb package with no buffering (most of the time). What we found we needed to do was click the "lower bandwidth" link on each programme, which is on the bottom left hand side of the screen. That helped a lot, and we can now watch live TV and iplayer with no problems. Even though you have 2mb, if you try watching in lower bandwidth it might work for you. Alternatively, you could try and download the programmes from iplayer after midnight then watch them the next day, as Multimax automatically upgrades your package for you between 12 midnight and 10am. I hope this helps, if not i would give them a call.

Hi Judyr If you would like to email me at erolz@cream.org I will try and help, I work for Multimax. You should be able to watch streaming content via multimax 2mbs connection from BBc iplayer. It will not work without buffering 100% of the time, that is I am afraid the nature of the internet based TV. However it should work most of the time with either no buffering or very occasional buffering. If it is consistently buffering every time you try and watch then something else may be going on. If you email on the above address we can investigate for you.

what would be a good idea is to visit http://www.mmcyp.com and do a speedtest from there just to get an idea whether you have any problems with your connection in general. K
