I have been wearing Fit Flops since they first came out, I bought my 4th pair for last summer that hopefully will last this summer as well. They are supremely comfortable but do not make you lose weight or even as far as I can tell, tone your legs.

The best shoes like this are MBT. They are fantastic, don't help yoou to lose weight, they are meant to tone you up, and help you to walk better. I have a bad back, but as soon as I put my MBT's on in the morning, I feel like i'm walking on air. The give you a better posture as well. Expensive but worth evey penny.

stellastar1 agree with you about MBT. Fantastic for my hip problem especially on the hard floors here. I have the trainers and several pairs of the sandals but for the summer I also have Fitflops which I also find extremely comfortable and much lighter in weight than the MBT's.
