Not sure it is a good idea to contradict the moderators. They make decisions based on what they feel is the common good. I know that Lee is a lovely chap and does so much good, especially for Ismail, but if the mods feel he has offended the rules of Cyprus 44, then they follow their rules. to ask them to change their minds could open a floodgate of appeals in the future.

As thelovely Lee says he doesn't mind, my opinion is that I am happy to go along with his thinking. After all, others are posting for him, so it is not as if he is totally silent.

I am sure you will disagree with me, but ....................just my 'umble opinion.

I understand the need for moderation - in fact I remember when this forum had no moderators and got into a terrible state with multi id's posting tripe & filth. But the moderators are human and I think in this instance they have made a mistake. They have banned a kind, popular member for nothing more than asking questions - no bad language, no bullying, simply asking where peoples donations had gone to. I have looked again and cannot see where he broke any forum rules. Yes I know I have now broken them by questioning the Mods decision but someone has to make a stand sometime for what's right!



Now, where's that bottle?

Surley the Mods could have deleted Jonny's "Offesive (in their opinion) posts", as they have deone to/on many other posts/occasions, without the need to ban him for a month ?

Just a question as to why it did not happen in this instance ?



It's such a shame to lose such a valued member to the forum, even if for only a month when, in my opinion, some deletion might have been sufficient !
