What a terrible day. I just looked out of my window and yes it did look like we had a little snowfall. Spider,X

Lefke area. Snow but not settling half an hour ago, followed by sleet, very strong gusts of wind over night from the Troodos and picking up again now as I type. (Log burner glowing well!)

Drove through snowfall up near KAR centre. It was proper snow. We then had sleet rain/snow in Catalkoy. Whilst driving on the by-pass the mountains near Helarion castle were covered in snow. One car came onto the bypass with a full covering of snow. Another lady sat at the traffic lights taking photos of the snow on the mountains Tonight the forcasts are for 8c in County Durham and 4c here.

My god!- the thought of the locals driving in snow fills me with dread- they are reckless enough on dry roads- I may stay at home tomorrow.

Message 11. Many years ago for a couple of winters we had snow and cars would drive up to the mountains and put snowmen on their bonnets - can you imagine right in their line of vision - it is scary but thank goodness if they drove for a while they started to melt but not until a few accidets happened.
