Would forming a Nevis LLB (a sort of off shore company) and then transferring your property to it be a sensible move. If the deeds are not yet in your name, you would only need to transfer the rights to your contract, which should be easy and inexpensive. Would this protect UK assets from any Oram type attack? I'd love to hear an informed opinion. Here are some snippets... " In accordance with strong Nevisian law, a judgement from outside of Nevis will not be recognised by Nevisian courts" "A Nevis LLC can be set up within 24 hours and has low initial cost and low annual fees" "A Nevis LLC enables you to protect your assets and funds from government agencies, creditors, and lawsuits." "beneficial owners are not registered anywhere an LLC provides complete anonymity" Look up http://www.offshore-protection.com/nevisLLC.html

Offshore Company formation/operation is a subject I know a little about. This is a good way to protect assets normally, however, the Nevis Company would require PTB (even if island was one as would presently be required in the south even), and this I fear would be the downfall of the idea. However any liability on the house/land would fall to the Nevis Company, not you as beneficial owner, provided you were never divulged as the owner, either was ROC courts as you say could not get enforcement in Nevis. PTB will be our problem, and will raise questions re: why company, why in this country etc, and I fear the answers would not be understood.

Hi Brian I agree that registration of deeds after P2B to a Nevis LLC may be a problem - but surely registering the rights to a contract would be much easier and less expensive. It would appear the company 'bought' the property from you. Of course GC could attack the vendor, but with little hope of success since they are unlikely to have assets outside the TRNC. This seems an inexpensive, elegant solution....
