BBCi playerand desktop probs ?

Is anyone else having big problems with BBC live/iplayer and desktop in Catalkoy ? We are due to have some recabling done (thanks Multimax) butt seem to be having big problems with BBC - some probs with ITV but nowhere near as bad.

BBC live and player buffer loads and often won't play at all (this morning being latest problem) and although we have a brand new computer we cannot download BBCiplayer desk top !! I click on "download desktop" and it says it is connecting to Adobe Flash - then box comes up to say we need ot install Adobe Air "please click yes/no" and it will not let us click - there is the connecting ring spinning in the background and that is how it stays !!!!

I keep thinking it is a BBC problem but it has been going on for ages now and still cannot download iplayer desktop. Any ideas ?

We are in Karsiyaka and also have big problems with the BBC live/iplayer and yes, as you say, not as much buffering experienced with ITV.

Can't help with the downloading problems as a friend did all ours for us (thanks Julia) because we would have struggled otherwise.

Erolz is very knowledgeable and I'm sure will advise you.

I must just add, we are so glad we changed to Multimax.

I downloaded BBC iplayer desktop a couple of days ago and some films too with out any problems.



Don't forget you need a UK VPN. Good luck.

Thanks everyone - as usual Erolz to the resue !!! I needed to download Adobe Air from the adobe site (bbc desktop wouldn't do it !) - did that and then installed desktop and it all worked ok. Still having the buffering probs on live and iplayer but at least we can download and watch later via desktop.
