I started a website a few months ago as a hobby with a picture each day of North Cyprus. Some of these pictures may be interesting or helpful to people, which is why I would like to share them with you. If you click on each picture, it will open up and show a larger picture with some information underneath. All of the photos I have taken myself of things I found interesting.



I started the website as I thought it would be nice to have a kind of picture diary of my time here. I've also learnt a lot about North Cyprus history, nature, local traditions/foods etc.

Excellent! I found quite a few that I felt really showed off your photographic skills.

They say that we should all be taking lots of photos now that digital photography is so widely available. It is great to look at same photos after say 10 years

Thankyou for your kind comments, I'm not really the best photographer in the world, but I think i am improving! Re msg 3 - i think its great to look at old photos, you can see what has changed, and they can bring back some great memories!

The evil eye tree is at the Bella View Hotel near Bellapais, near the pool. The owner explained that it had died, so they hung some evil eye pendants and the tree started to grow again, so people can now place pendants on it and make wishes.

Kelly I've only had a quick look at the photos, I'll look later when I can take my time & enjoy it better. This the first time in months I have visited this forum for I am tired of the negative and puerile comments which make up the majority of the posts and replies. This post is a breath of fresh air; Kelly evidently apppreciates the many attributes of the TRNC and has shared this with others who have demonstrated a similar attitude and are happy with their lot in Cyprus. Not usually my preferred option for spending my time, but I became engrossed and I am now also a convert. Fab pictures, fascinating content and echo Marco about the nature of your notes. Became very hungry when viewing the dishes and recipes.
