an old couple of g/c showed up on our door step and wanted to walk around the yard and look at the trees ,we had tea and they left apparently the land was theirs so they say

After the Annan plan a lot of gcs wanted to visit their old homes, often it was genuinly just sentiment.

The ones who visited me were very pleasant, the old lady said she was settled in her new location in a seaside flat and they even sent my a present for showing them round, offering them tea and giving them some lemons from the tree, and invited me to visit them.



Mind you, I did sort of hint that I too was getting older and an old house takes a lot of hard work and I wouldnt mind swapping for a convenience flat near the sea. ! Have heard nothing since but it has been difficult keeping my fingers crossed so long.

Thgen don't be as dafty as the Orams and go visitng RoC police stations withy our documents etc.

If anyone turns up on your doorstep, use a different name, that way even if they did ever to manage to serve summons on you in the North, let it run as long as possible, years maybe to run up their costs, then point out it is not your name. Nothing can proceed in court with the wrong names on a summons.
