I was like that at 11pm last night, I have to admit.

Nice one Elko, how do you manage that one? Bear in mind the CIA will now be checking you out as an Arab fundimentalist trying to write in English.

Elko,

You do realise you would have been ducked and burned at the steak for a lot less in the glory days of Olde England (and much of Europe)..

BTW, how come when a Jerry died he went "Aaargh" but when it was a Jap he went "Aiieee", yet both went "Gnnn" if they hit the ground chin first?

It's been troubling me at night.

Don't let all this get you down. You're sounding quite depressed at the moment. You did say you were on pre-74, so relax.

Message 15 - Groucho, I know you're a stickler for correct use of the English language, but "steak" - sirloin or rump?

I'm sure someone told me that the Russian and Greek languages are very similar (alphabet-wise) or was I dreaming?

I remember when I first lived in Limas(s)ol I couldn't tell 'em apart .. They are quite different and the alphabets, too

Russians haven't a CLUE about the lower character Greek characters..

Sure, their origins are linked, but a lot of water passed under the bridge ;)....More important is the Orthodox Christian link ...

Well OK, the Soviets wanted to be friendly with Cyprus and Cyprus loved their money as the SU broke up ;)

You are right and I knew it as soon as I'd hit the tit that I'd transposed the letters... I don't mind typos as we all make "misteaks" (sic) with the old fingers and this board is very unforgiving.... it does make for some very funny phrases at times.

PS I was hoping it would be his rump that burned...
