I noticed both Santa-Fe/ Blossom properties have requested the closure of threads. This doesn't seem fair to me,i appreciate that a lot of information posted may be untrue or exaggerated, but a lot of it is usefull and informative reading about other peoples experiences. What happened to free speech and ones right to express their opinion or is that not allowed in the TRNC?

Please explain what a "thread" is? Is it a posting? Where/How can I see that Santa Fe/Blossom properties have requested closure of such threads?

I agree that it is very worrying that thoughts and opinions are being deleted by request of commercial companies.

A thread is what we are on now, a series of posts made by you and I.

You can normally find what you want by putting a search item in the box above.

Augusta,

Go on the main index click on complaints its a thread started by "Ricnatmeg". As a buyer on olive grove it is a little concerning, i see nothing wrong with postings it helps keep everyone informed, ideas, suggestions, and experiences of buying through them. For example i found out after much digging that their is a £100,000 mortgage on the site ,didn't tell me that when i purchased. Whts next i wonder?

Rarely I do close down threads as I do not want headaches with companies calling over and over and mentioning legal action...

Dear Izzet, it would be interesting to learn if Santa Fe and other builders do participate on BB discussions. I think from the buyers perspective, stones continue to be turned over because of the "add ons" from builders, and the inadequate searches made by solicitors. This is a continuous theme from many contributors, and these sites are often the only way to try and sort out these wrangles, kind regards,Steve

Well said sir, Plenty to say when they are flogging the apartments, not a lot being said when their are problems. At least some constructors have come on the board to respond to threads posted for which they deserve credit.
